Cleaner fuel alternatives

The systems we supply and install for these cleaner, more economical alternative fuels are suitable for both older and new (direct injection) engines and hybrids. Driving on gas (Autogas, LPG, CNG or LNG) with one of our systems offers many advantages such as fuel cost savings and reducing exhaust emissions such as CO2, particles and NOx.

LPG - Liquid Petroleum Gas.

A cleaner fuel compared to petrol and diesel, using LPG as a vehicle fuel helps to improve the air quality.

CNG - Compressed Natural Gas.

One of the cleanest fuels, it emits fewer harmful gases and less fine particulate matter compared to petrol.

LNG - Liquid Natural Gas.

Used as a fuel for road transport and in marine and industrial applications.

We offer a variety of solutions for converting vehicles to LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas), CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas):

  • Extensive product range
  • We can install in (almost) all cars, buses and HGVs
  • We focus specific integration by car brand and model
  • Find out which system best fits your car by using our vehicle database on your phone, tablet or computer

Alternatech did a great job installing my Prins system on a 2017 VW Golf SV. Everything fits great and works perfectly. No difference in how the car runs and the amount of petrol used in addition to the LPG is negligible. The savings are now really starting to show.

BMW M340i on LPG

We've taken the BMW M340i with the latest generation 3 litre V6 DI engine and converted it to LPG (Autogas).

Originally the car would drive on petrol – the expensive fossil fuel we all know. With the installation of an additional LPG system in the car, this BMW is now able to run on LPG instead of petrol.

You may be curious as to why you would want to convert your car to LPG? Well, there are two main drivers: saving money on fuel costs, and driving more environmentally friendly. The more you drive, the more savings it will bring you. Check out the video to find out more...
